Tim Peake tweets SELFIE as he makes history during first 'official' space walk by Brit

Taking the first steps in any endeavour is a feat but today Tim Peake became the first Briton to venture out for a stroll through space.
The 43-year-old dad of two made it into the history books by becoming the first Briton to walk in space.
And he lived to tell the tale after his mission was cut short - tweeting his legion of followers a brilliant selfie to mark the historic occasion .
Mr Peake told followers he will never forget his "exhilarating" first walk in space as he posted a space selfie of his historic feat.

Starman: Mr Peake said today was an exhilarating experience
The astronaut tweeted for the first time since he became the first Briton to complete an Extra-Vehicular Activity or spacewalk.
He wrote: "Today's exhilarating spacewalk will be etched in my memory forever - quite an incredible feeling!"
The tweet, which received hundreds of retweets within minutes, was accompanied with three photos including a selfie showing his camera in the reflection of his helmet.
Earlier this week Mr Peake helped school children to make history too by facilitating a radio call from planet earth.

Head teacher Alan Gray said the children loved the experience and that Mr Peake is already a hero to many.
He added: "It's a way of inspiring young people into science and technology - seeing the opportunities that may be available to them."
